“For you sir.” Kori said with a smile as she placed a martini down in front of a man sitting across from a young red haired woman. “And you miss.” Kori said as she turned to face the woman whom she set down a Shirley Temple for. Now looking to both, Kori spoke up pleasantly; “I’ll be back with your meals shortly.” With those last words she left the table and went to check on their food hoping they wouldn’t have to wait much longer.
Kori was also a bit eager for her shift to end so she could get home and finish unpacking. She had moved into a nice little place in Morning Glory Circle about a week ago and she still had yet to finish unpacking…not to mention undoubtedly hear more odd stories from one of her new neighbors about the Stephens’ home. Of course Kori didn’t believe a word of them. However she wasn’t exactly the type to shoo someone away or tell them off. Kori instead humored and indulged people because she found it more polite to do so.
“Order up for seventy five!” One of the chefs called out as he placed the paper up on the silver order holder.
Yippie! Kori inwardly exclaimed. Though she exclaimed inwardly, outwardly she still showed her excitement and enthusiasm. “Thank you.”
Kori grabbed a tray and placed the food orders upon it. Here we go. After making her way back to the table Kori happily placed the food in front of each couple. She nodded to each. “Enjoy.” She said sweetly before leaving to let them eat in peace.
